I'm having trouble getting my data to map properly, what do I do?

Start with checking the following:

Why is geocoding so slow, especially for large maps?

When using the free version of BatchGeo we use the free Google Maps API. We provide geocoding as fast as this API will allow, which is roughly 1 geocode per second. For larger maps with more consecutive geocodes the speed may decrease. For the fastest geocoding possible use BatchGeo Pro, which provides geocoding at a rate of 10 per second.

How do I get access to the Google Earth KML file for my map?

The Google Earth KML download is available at the bottom of a saved map, so you will need to save your map before gaining access to the KML.

I have more addresses than the allowed 250 - what do I do?

You can either break your data up into smaller maps, or explore our Pro Service which supports up to 15,000 markers. For more than 15,000 markers we recommend using Maptive.

I used to be able to map up to 2,500 markers using the free version, why only 250 now?

Google made changes to their geocoding quotas for the free version of their Maps API, this made it impossible for maps to be created with more than 250 markers. BatchGeo Pro was unaffected by the quota changes as it uses a licensed (paid) version of Google Maps, it still supports 10 geocodes per second and up to 15,000 markers.

I would like to use more groups than the 6 allowed using BatchGeo, what do I do?

For up to 9 groups you can use BatchGeo Pro, for more groups check out Maptive.

I used to be able to retrieve latitude and longitude coordinates using BatchGeo, what happened?

The Google Maps product manager formally requested we disable this service, you can however still use our service to geocode addresses and visualize using Google Maps.
