Characteristics of FAAOMPT site: I work at somewhat of an unusual clinic, one within the largest YMCA in the state, and with two sports med docs (Fellowship trained). We see a variety of orthopedic and sports med patients. Our therapists include a present EIM Resident, and an elite runner, and myself, a Fellow in training, formerly an SCS certified therapist, ATC, and former ATC-PT in the NFL, golf tour, and governing amateur body (USA Gymnastics). Both docs and myself are also TPI-certified practitioners.

Characteristics of FAAOMPT site: I work in an unique environment with the Army special operations soldiers. It is a diirect access situation where the PT is often the first point of contact and works to triage the individual conditions. The environment is probably more typical of a sports medicine situation than an orthopedic one, but there are many musculoskeletal rehabilitation oportunities. The schedule is eradic due to the current international circumstances.
